The Eastern Lancaster County Library Endowment Fund provides a stable source of long term funding to ensure the library is able to fulfill its mission to provide free access to information, education, technology, services, and entertainment to facilitate an informed society.

With the help of the Lancaster County Community Foundation's Endowment Program, the Eastern Lancaster County Library is working hard to keep its future bright. Your contributions to the Eastern Lancaster County Library Endowment Fund will become a perpetual gift to your community's Library. Find out how you can become a beacon of light to your Library for years to come.

Let us not forget the gift left to us by Andrew Carnegie. Carnegie donated more than $40 million for 1,679 new library buildings in communities large and small across America. His generosity left a legacy which continues today through the trusts and institutions he endowed.

There is nothing more satisfying than making a difference in something that is bigger than yourself. Leave a legacy for future generations so they can enjoy the same privilege of having a free library.
